Titanic II

I'm sure a lot of you have heard the rumor about a new Titanic that might possibly be built, better known as the Titanic II. Of course, naturally, the biggest ramble it has set off is if people will trust the ship enough to actually hitch a ride, or if it will forever set sail alone. Don't get me wrong, at first I had the most common answer running through my head, hell no. Many are quick to reject the new idea, but if we think abut it logically, the chances of another mistake happening such as the one that happened on the original, are slim to none. I mean think about it, it's not like they didn't figure out what the problem was? They knew well after the situation took place, if anything you would think that they would take extra repercussions to go out of their way and make sure that the same incident would not take place again.

Therefore, thinking twice on the issue (of course if I ever got the chance; probably going to be unrealistically expensive) I would probably hitch a ride. As they say now-a-days you only live once, and how cool would it be to say you got to ride on the repercussioned Titanic, and lived through it! Besides, I'm sure there are plenty of priceless artifacts and pieces of history that remained on the ship that are going to be placed on the new one. We go through museums all the time and get the glimpse of reality from past times then, how cool would it be to experience history while on a model of the ship it all took place on?

Now we could sit here and reminisce on all of the bad thing that took place and how that yes it is possible something could go wrong again but in all honesty that's true of anything. Every time you get in a car, every time you go aboard an airplane, every time you enter a large body of water that contains a current; everything has a risk to it. The Titanic just happened to be on of those risks gone wrong. So I guess there's only one question left here: If you got the opportunity, would you hitch a ride on the Titanic II?

The True Feeling of Jealousy

Recently a new post about Beyonce and Jay Z states that the couple might outbid a Beverly hill mansion for $70 million. Now lets be honest, this is not the first time we have heard of something like this. It seems like there's a new blog or article in a magazine about how "a new celebrity bought a $200,000 car" or "a new celeb couple gets buys a new mansion worth 3 peoples lives put together" or "celeb spotted on  private Island claiming to be on vacation". While these posts do tend to feed the general populations mind and draw the interest of many, we can't go un-noticing that part of that is based on jealousy. We have to admit (or at least I do) that we're amazed by the luxury lives more "popular and higher up" people live. Come on, admit it, you have scrolled through such posts before and thought at least once "I wish" or "If only". The truth is though is (while it looks like it on the outside) money truly does not by the happiness of others.

Too many times I've read articles about how so and so committed suicide, overdosed, or is struggling through something based on being alone or having no one to talk to. I challenge you to take one week from keeping all of your secrets you know to yourself and not talking to anyone about how you feel about anything and see if you can make it. I doubt you will. We don't realize how much interaction we have in a day with others, and I'm sure half of the problems of these celebs is based on the fact that they are cooped up in a studio or too busy impressing the public to focus on themselves and what they really need. Sure they look like they live perfect lives, but pictures can be very deceiving. Don't believe me? Plenty have spoke out about it. Take drake for example, he raps about it in his song Language for just one of the many examples that are out there. Too often we are so focused on the brightness the lime light brings that we let articles such as these go unseen or unspoken of. Don't get me wrong I also have a problem with  looking at new mansions or cars or vacations celebs go on and not being jealous, But just ask yourself next time, now that you have the real facts. Would it really be worth it? Are you really Jealous of the person, or just of the beauty of the glorious picture in front of you that middle class people like us dream about?

Lea Michele

I'm sure by now we have all heard about Lea Michele's  soon to be husband passed away after an overdose only weeks before they were supposed to get married. I remember reading magazine article upon magazine article about how crushed Michele wouldn't speak out upon the topic of his death ( and rightfully so). After weeks of articles about words only spoken from her close loved ones, she finally came out and said that while she appreciated the support all she really wanted was some time alone, space to grieve. Just a year later however, she seems to have gotten back into the swing of things as the new promo for the final season of Glee,  coming out with a confident performance of Let It Go.

It's difficult enough to loose someone in your family that you loved dearly, but has to be even harder to loose someone that you were so close to being married too. Within a matter of a few weeks Michele would have gotten married to the love of her life, and it all seemed to slip through her fingers. She lost her everything, and still managed to get back up on her feet. That is the biggest act of confidence and strength that could possibly be displayed in my opinion. I commend her for that alone, but to go back to the show that her and Monteith (her boyfriend) stared in together, is quite impressive. She serves as quite an inspiration for many of her and Monteith's fans as she picked up herself up (with practically no closure) and decided to let things fall into her hands, and she is dealing with the situation tremendously.

I'm sure that somewhere within this new season we will see plenty of little moments that Michele has (along with some of her friends) regarding Monteith's former character Finn, and will touch the hearts of all it's viewers. It's incredible the amount of support that his and Micheles families (along with their former co-stars) have received regarding his death, and how they all have come out strong. As for Lea Michele, it is amazing to see her stand strong after all that she has been through, and show in the short 20 second promo that she is ready to try and move on and maybe even try to let it go as she continues her astounding career in singing and acting, and closing out the last season of Glee.

Portia and Ellen Celebrate 10 Years!

In a society such as ours that we live in today, it is easy for us to cave into peer pressure and feel down about our decisions if the public doesn't agree with them. As hard as it is to be a teenager, I can't imagine the pressure as a celebrity! However that doesn't seem to be the case or problem when it comes to Portia and Ellen, recently spending 10 years together as a lesbian couple! Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against gay people! That's in fact why I find it so inspiring to hear that after all of the pressure and sly comments they have heard that they are still going strong! I guess love does that to people though, am I right?

I'm sure by now everyone that lives and breathes on planet earth has watched (or at least heard of) Ellens's show, Ellen Degenerous. Besides her tremendous outstretched arms for those in need and her impressive talk show hosts that vary every show, she never forgets to mention her loving wife every chance she gets. Their kind of love is inspiring (gay or not) I think we could all learn a valuable lesson from Ellen and Portia's relationship as a whole throughout the past decade. If  anything they have taught us that with love and commitment a couple can get through just about anything (and lets be honest theirs has to be pretty strong to be still holding on). Ignoring all of the ignorant comments and getting past all the arguments and troubles all couples have, they defiantly have a relationship that I think any and all of us aught to envy as we go on with our lives (corresponding with future relationships).

As for me I defiantly appreciate and admire Ellen and all she has done to help better people and communities in difficult and desperate situations, and am envious to her attitude to the many that still (beyond all she does for people and making the world a better place) look down on her for her choice of marrying Portia, Many of us have heard the saying saying it's whats on the inside that counts over and over again within our lives, but that statement is true, and Ellen is a perfect example of that. As for the couple, I am very happy for them and hope they continue to pursue their strong relationship, and ignore the comments (and get past the issues) that would possibly even suggest setting them apart.

Lady Gaga's Big News

I remember a few years ago when Lady Gaga was all people could talk about (and still remains somewhat true to this day). To her fans she was the face of just about everything from inspiration to fierceness, but most of all, she was their hope. Recently she came out with news that shocked thousands as she admitted to being raped as a teen.

This news particularly got me thinking. I remember watching a documentary a few years back (for whatever reason, I can't remember) that was centered around her lie and growing up. I was aware that she grew up with practically nothing and that she defiantly lived on the wilder and edgier side of life (especially as a teen) but never remember the saying anything about how she was raped.

As an icon to many, sharing that you should be/express nothing but yourself (attracting a rather interesting group of fans in correspondence with her behavior and weird quirky videos) and her inspiration to do anything you set your mind to, it was no surprise to hear about how her life panned out up to her career. After years of struggle and grief realizing that being true to herself is what got her through makes the puzzle fit perfectly with her constant preaching and teaching of that to the world. But did her rape have something to do with this as well? Being raped is clearly a traumatic experience that changes whoever the victim happens to be, is that also a big part of how she ended up as a kid and where she is now in her life? All of these things seem to come to question after I heard the news.

Either way though (when it comes down to it) a big step in the healing process is admitting to the fear or action that happened. I (and I'm sure many others) are bummed about the news, but are glad she brought it to the public's attention to get it of her chest, and to hopefully move forward in the future.

Selena Gomez Taking on the AMA's

Just the other night hundreds of thousands of T.V screens were lit up with the AMA's (American Music Awards) and many were extremely impressed, especially during Selena Gomez's heartbreaking performance of her debut song "The Heart Wants What It Wants". Taylor Swift (one of her best friends) in particular was dramatically thrown to tears during the song, and looked as if (in my opinion) she clearly could relate to Gomez's current heartbreak

After the performance I was particularly intrigued, and wanted to learn more about her story, so I proceeded to look it up only to find that her and Justin Bieber had recently broke up. To follow, Gomez's newly released album "For You" was completely dedicated to Bieber, and expresses her traumatic experience of not only her break up, but her experiences in the relationship. I feel as if her performance was spot on at the AMA's and really hit home for her, showing her vulnerability to the situation. The sole fact that the song started with a recording of her sobbing and talking about her being ripped a part during the issue had to have pulled on so many heart strings, and (at least for me) really got my attention.

As the song continued on, so much expression was presented, it was easy to tell that Gomez wasn't faking it, and that she was really torn up about the problem. I myself was thrown by the performance as well, and almost felt as if it was me at the end of it, almost tapping into her emotion that she so strongly presented to the audience that night. Since then she has the support of many, and (for whatever reason) a cold back from others. I personally feel bad for her, as we all move on with our lives she still struggles every day with her heartbreak. Sure everyone goes through heartbreak and there are much worse problems in the world, but the contributing factor of how badly she was treated during the "on-off relationship" is really a hard obstacle to overcome in such vulnerable times for her. She was truly strong to preform that song that night, and I believe that that is just one of the first steps to healing. I feel for her and hope she gets through this hard time, and I hope Bieber here's what she has to say in her new album, realizing the true damage he has done.

Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton has been on the headlines practically every week since she got married to prince William. In my opinion you have be really in love with someone to want to marry into a family that provides nothing but invade your privacy and your family life, It seems like all Kate has been is smacked on the tabloids about her pregnancy. Recently she appeared on E News! on yet another update on her second pregnancy since she got married (http://www.eonline.com/news/596261/kate-middleton-covers-baby-bump-in-chic-pastel-blue-jacket-at-oil-refinery-visit-with-prince-william-see-pics). What surprises me is that Kate appears to be a very shy women with many reserved qualities, so it seems to be of even greater interest that she is okay with the press being in her business 24/7.

In other respects, I think it is awesome that her and William share such a beautiful relationship that they continue to  appear to be stuck like glue, as some would say. It has to take a really dedicated couple to be able to go through all of that together and still confidentially express their love with no regrets. I mean lets be honest, if that happened to any of us in a relationship we would probably at least have some sort of a doubt in our minds about our partner. Th press express so many lies to attract attention, which is the main cause of many relationship issues, some of which even end in a break up/ divorce. It's actually kind of sad if you think about, all that love destroyed based on one idea that the press had to attract and grab the attention of it'd readers. That is why I am so impressed with Kate and Williams relationship.

As for their children and their future ahead, I believe that they are in a great place and so are their kids. They clearly have many great morals and values to pass on to their children and appear to be very stable. I couldn't be more impressed with their relationship and think that they were all truly set up for royalty It can;t be easy being the eyes of the country, but they sure have adapted well to the state that they are in,and seem to be doing well in accomplishing their goals.

Chris Brown

I feel like this whole "lets hate Chris Brown" thing started years ago when it was released on the headlines that he had beaten Rihanna (which was later in fact found to be true), and ever since it has just slowly escalated. For example, a recent headline on E! News talks about Chris Brown's rant against Adrienne Bailon and Tamar Braxton, and his refusal to apologize (http://www.eonline.com/news/594618/chris-brown-won-t-apologize-for-his-rant-against-adrienne-bailon-and-tamar-braxton-karrueche-tran-weighs-in). Don's get me wrong, I don't believe in or agree with Brown's poor behavior and choices over the years, but in some cases we have to realize the circumstances that we put certain celebrities in during their years of fame.

As far as Brown beating Rihanna, I am extremely against that and believe he deserved every lick of discipline that he received, there is never an excuse to making those sort of choices, especially considering how conscious you are of those decisions. You don't just physically abuse someone without being aware of it.  Branching off from that, I still do believe that we tend to trow some celebrities under the bus by exaggerating certain situations. Brown not apologizing to people for ranting at them doesn't seem to be a situation that corresponds close to being the end of the world.  While the right thing probably would have been to apologize, if he feels a certain way (just like many of us do) he is going to stick with it, so why does it matter? I feel like in the heat of the press they have the mindset of "what other way to spark an audience then by bringing up another mishap Chris had with women" which I don't totally agree with.

Going along with my idea that we need to take into consideration what these celebrities have gone through, we need to realize what lifestyles they have been living in and what they sacrifice just to do what they love. It's like animals in cages, we never leave them alone, we put them on display for the whole world, whether they like it or not. In correspondence the press shows them off how they want to world to see them. I mean lets face it, we are forming opinions on people we have never even met, how do we even know if what was said was true? In reality we will never get the whole story, only the one that the press is in favor of perusing. In the end it all comes down to who we are. We all are human, we all make mistakes (some less fixable than others) but the only way we can try to mend it is by moving on. I feel like that's what we need to realize when reading certain stories about celebrities, like it or not, there's always another side to the story that we aren't hearing.

Mockingjay

The new movie Mockingjay has (the squeal to the Hunger Games and catching Fire) is all anyone has been talking about, as well as I; and there are plenty of articles out there that are surly spicing up it's audience (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hunger_Games:_Mockingjay_%E2%80%93_Part_1). I normally do articles on celebrities themselves, but decided that this was just too great of an opportunity to just pass up. As I'm sure many others have theirs, I have formed many of my own opinions (from reading the books and watching to movies) that have made me crazy to see Mockingjay part 1 as soon as possible.

Suzanne Collins is a genius to display such a situation to contrast with what our society could potentially turn into (centuries from now of course). It probably won't turn out to be equal the way Collins portrays it to, but pretty darn close. Think about it, the society those people live in is a democracy with very VERY low amounts of resources, isn't that where our society is going? And the Hunger Games were created by the government to create fear in the people, to show them that they are not higher nor better, and that they should stand down at any occasion, they are controlling. Isn't that what people are like today in our politics, to give citizens nothing but the options of following the laws they come up with, or else their punished. The rebellions in the movie are for the same reasons we have rebellion (minor ones at that though) today, that we don't agree or like decisions that were made by higher powers. I think that in this sense, The Hunger Games was ingeniously created.

The story line is incredible as well. The idea of the love story may be a little main stream, but the situation that Katniss and Peeta are put in is extraordinary. It is set up in such a way that can't help but make you question their relationship at every moment, and that truly does string you along until the end. It's one of those books/movies that no matter how many times you've read/seem it you ever want it to end, because you want to see what happens next (even though you already know). I being a strong believer in that statement, trust that Mockingjay is going to be just as great as the other movies, and I am beyond excited to see what happens next.

Ellen Degenerous

Ellen has been such an inspiration to so many people, and has touched the lives of thousands in big and small ways all over the globe. What I don't  understand is why a handful of people are still discriminatory towards her because of her interest in the same sex. If anything Ellen sets a great example, that everyone is equal. Often times the reason some people are against people who like others of the same sex is because they feel like they act different or are "weird" but Ellen really proves that wrong. She shows that no matter where you are in the world, or what you believe in you truly can make a difference, She inspires people that showing them no matter what conditions you live in you matter just as much as the rest of us, and that a little help in a difficult situation is nothing to be ashamed of.

So many people watch Ellen's show and are inspired everyday, never even thinking about or realizing she likes those of the same sex. What I don't understand is why some still say they are against her because of her choice. It's not like she did anything to them or is insulting in any way during her shows, who cares if she is interested in those of the same sex, that's not the point. What matters is who she is and her beliefs in making the world a better place, that's all that matters in the end in my opinion; regardless of who you are or what sex you prefer to be with. Ellen is a beautiful person, inside and out, and everyone should learn from that. Whether it is realizing that no matter who you are you truly can make a difference, or realizing that sex opinion doesn't matter or define who you are, they are both quality eye openers. I commend Ellen for everything that she does and how confident and poised she is while doing it, If society was half as good as she is this world would be in much better conditions and in a much happier place.

The Annual Dreaded Canceling

Every year there are "those shows" that get cancelled for whatever reason on certain channels or, in some cases, from TV all together; and every year people freak out about it, so why does it happen? Recently there was a list posed on the Eoline of some of these shows (http://www.eonline.com/news/591841/and-the-first-canceled-new-show-of-the-fall-is), and every year there are at least a good handful of people that complain.

I believe that the reasons for canceling shows seems some what legitimate, new and more popular shows come out and TV channels only have room for a certain amount, but how do they choose which ones stay and which ones go? It's not like they can look up the number of people that watch a select show and choose that way. I think that they choose by how old the show is, if the show has been aired for what they believe as "long enough" they boot it out. It would make sense right? Just parallel to the ways of society, a phone is out for a month and people get bored expecting a new kind of phone to come out with all new features. In my opinion we have lost one of the most important aspects in these types of cases and that is quality. If a show is of great quality and gets mass amounts of views and is talked about, why not leave it on a little longer? When it comes down to it when we turn a TV on it's because we want to watch and be entertained by a good show, regardless of if it's new or not. That is why I believe that any get so upset every year of the shows that are passed on to make room for others, because the choosing isn't done fairly.

Take Ellen for example, people threw a fit when that show was moved to a different channel and a different time, but for whatever reason, that was already decided. I think in these types of issues we need to look a little further than just the old verses the new. I believe that many of us would be surprised at just how deceiving age can be.

Raged Miley Cyrus Fans

I'm sure by now all of us have heard of Miley Cyrus by now (that is unless you live under a rock), and all of her (to say the least) fascinating changes since she's removed herself from her previous show/act of Hannah Montana. Since, she has showed up in many articles and conversations concerning her complete transformation, but one thing that isn't so much on the headlines is stories of her extremely crazed fan. Well, in contrast with that, I recently found an article pertaining to one of Cyrus's fans sneaking backstage as a cleaner during a show ( http://www.eonline.com/news/589998/miley-cyrus-fan-sneaks-backstage-at-singer-s-concert-dressed-as-a-cleaner). This raised a thought that I think many of us have wondered about at least a few times before.

Towards the beginning of Cryus's change a lot of us looked at her as too "out there", just too much of a leap from innocent teen to raged adult. Instead of following her, many of us rejected her behavior, saying that it just wasn't appropriate and that it was totally against everything she originally said she believed in. We even went as far as making short clipped video's of Cyrus stating that she wouldn't do (such as drugs) then, that cut into pictures of her doing such things now. What I don't understand is why over the course of the last year many changed their minds and followed her and continued being her fans.

If you ask people, many of Cyrus's fans will tell you that they love her because "She isn't afraid to be herself, no matter who is watching", but my question in return is, How? How does someone change that much within a span of a few months. I mean, she went from an engagement with a very flattering co star we worked with in her film The Last Song and a sturdy fan base, to a break off in the engagement and  a not so stable fan base within a very short period of time. She has gone against everything she preached to young kids in her younger years. She used to be such a respectable person for people of all ages to look up to, and what has she turned into? How are you supposed to find a person that rides hot dogs half naked smoking weed attractive and respectable? In my opinion, she took the adult role of a performer a little to far, because I can guarantee you no respectable adult would ever think of doing half the things she's done.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Miley Cyrus's and I do believe there is still a good person somewhere in there, because that person still shows up once in a while. I feel as if over the passed month or two she has calmed down a little bit and has been trying to change her image a little bit, which is good, because  I don't think that if she continues to do what she did/does that many people would stick around.

Grey's Anatomy

Since I was a child I have watched Grey's Anatomy (as I'm sure many others have) and have continued to be amazed at the work of the television series and how it continues to lay out. Recently there was an article posted about a specific recent show aired, about why many of Grey's viewers are giving the specific show a side eye (http://www.eonline.com/news/589338/why-we-re-giving-tonight-s-grey-s-anatomy-a-lot-of-side-eye-our-rants-and-raves). Many are enraged about the outcome of the revealing of Meredith's past, accusing it to not make sense. In my opinion however, it as just another factor in being a television show.

So many seem to not understand why Meredith supposedly just remembered her mom giving birth to this supposed child and then giving it up until now, but if they were willing to look at the bigger picture of the series itself, they would draw a better understanding. Repetitively in this show different members of the cast face obstacles the often times find to hard to bare, and so instead they embody it and try their best to ignore their knowledge of the situation, much like what happens in real life. In my opinion this was a rough time in Meredith's life and instead of  providing the situation some closure, she decided to hide it in hopes of never having to face the situation at all. In return, considering this is a television show, it was the main source of the viewers interests, it drew people in, which is what many television series strive to achieve. I feel that all of these issues were factors of the show, and other viewers disappointment is rather unnecessary.

These sort of situations have appeared countless other times in the show, and the answer/reasoning behind one's problem is the revealed later on.  Although other people may have hoped for a better outcome or answer, considering the wait and suspension in the whole situation, they shouldn't be near as upset, as it does correspond with many of the other situations represented on the show. I wouldn't worry to much though (being someone who often watches the show myself) I'm sure that one episode gone wrong won't convince it's viewers of many years to not tune in again next week.

How to Get Away With Murder

Recently a new article has sparked the interest of many of it's viewers consisting of the new television series How to Get Away With Murder, (http://www.eonline.com/news/589441/how-to-get-away-with-murder-is-changing-tv) and I for one am one of those people. The new series is proclaimed to changing TV as we know it, and this exciting statement (in my eyes) couldn't be any more true.

I portray this series as a show about a group of college students that partake in a class about law and end up getting themselves dug into a deeper hole than they ever expected. Viewers such as myself get sucked into a series of different murder cases that they are all supposed to help the attorney (their aw teacher) solve. Throughout the show I as a viewer have been able to form many of my own outlooks and opinions on the cases in the show based on the evidence provided and in turn get to watch the rest of the mystery unfold as they continue on to reveal the truth. I believe that this in many ways is the reason this show is in fact considered to be changing TV as we know it. The excitment of getting to form your own opinion on a case and really bringing not just the cast in but the viewers as well to solve such mysteries is quite intriguing.

There's is a highlighted case in the show that seems to be sticking around as all the others fade away, as this particular case involves many of the main characters. Flash forwards of the case are presented in every show and give an insight and another clue as to what is going on and who in fact is to blame in this case. My friends and I often find ourselves talking about the show on our free time, quite often more than we have any other show at any other given time. I agree with this article that this new series presented to the public is in fact swaying the it's audiences opinions on the quality of other shows based on this one. I myself, since watching this show, have never been as satisfied with other murder mystery shows as I have this one. This is in fact the source of the change of the way we watch TV. It is incredible to me just how fascinating a show be, fascinating enough to be able to take one show and change its audiences opinions on everything. Now that my friends is powerful beyond belief.

Bruce and Kris Jenner

I'm sure by now many have at least glanced at the popular television series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and in it have been able to get at least a slight taste of the relationship between Bruce and Kris Jenner. Their "high drama" relationship pulled many viewers in as it pulled the family apart.  Recently in the news headlines a new story has come out about if Bruce Jenner is in fact dating one of Kris Jenners best friends now that his and Kris's relationship has been terminated (http://www.eonline.com/news/589596/is-bruce-jenner-dating-kris-jenner-s-best-friend-find-out). In my opinion, I just don't see why we cant let it be.

Every viewer of the Kardashian show must know of the drama and tension between Kris and Bruce during and after their relationship, and I'm sure talk amongst social media and the press didn't help. I believe that it is/never was any outside sources business to use their two  cents in about the relationship itself considering the issues it cost. Yes, it is a reality television show and yes, they must know that part of partaking in it is the lack of privacy from other parties, but that doesn't mean others thrown in opinions of the situation didn't cause more stress and drama on the relationship than necessarily needed. The mutual agreement of the divorce and deciding to live separably after the divorce had to be hard enough after raising a family together (despite the many issues and complications involved) but the constant stream of others opinions slashing into the situation had to take a toll on the two as well.

This new article specifically stated that the two agreed they were living happily and more content on their own, and that they had come to be at peace with the situation, so I don't understand why we have to continue to make a big deal out of it. After years of arguing and hashing complicated situations out, they have finally come to be at peace with the situation and it's outcome, so why do we have to continue to fuel the fire?

Taylor Swift

Many have formed the opinion that Taylor Swifts career is solely based on her relationships and her breakups, and in accordance with this many have grown less and less fond of her and her music. However, more recently there has been a spark in conversation about her new song coming out about her ex Harry Styles, and people have been going crazy to hear it (http://www.eonline.com/news/586928/taylor-swift-is-releasing-a-harry-styles-inspired-single-next-week-and-fans-are-going-bananas). This specific incident has had me wondering about who really likes her as an artist and who doesn't.

Many say that Swifts music has grown old and that hearing about nothing but her either current relationship or breakup has grown tiresome. However, at the same time. many still ironically get excited to hear about what her new songs on her albums have to say. Yes, in my opinion Swifts music may often times be repetitive, nonetheless they never fail to be intriguing. All of this brings me to believe that although many say they aren't inspired by her music anymore, they are at least still intrigued.

All it usually takes from an artist is to spark an interest in his or her audience to sell their music and tickets to their show. With that being said while many may believe that Swift is on her way out, she may very well still be on her way up. While Swift has lost the war of her constant repeat in literature, she has still succeeded in her cause in interest among teens and young adults across the world. This sort of thing still leads her to sell more and more cd's and continue to rise on the charts of popularity. In accordance she has recently changed up her style of music, leading more towards a pop sort of feel. While many didn't like it at all in the beginning, many have seemed to accustomed to it now. In conclusion, I would think twice before believing that Swifts career is headed out the door. In my opinion at least, her career seems to be still alive and very much on the rise.

Nick Cannon

Many by now have heard the news about Mariah Carey and Nick Cannons break up and soon to be divorce. More recently though many have been raging about Cannons dramatic change in his back tattoo (http://www.eonline.com/news/586140/nick-cannon-covers-up-his-mariah-carey-tattoo-replaces-signature-ink-with-massive-new-tat). The tattoo that originally said "Mariah" on the back has now been covered up with a tattoo of a dove with a cross. This newly released information has had many ragging in all different directions of opinions.

As a teen myself I know that even though the conversation was brought up lightly and in a joking manner, my parents have told me to think twice before getting permanent ink placed on my body. As I'm sure all are aware, any form of tattoo ink placed on your body is forever there, and there are essentially no for sure options of removal. Many could argue in this manner that it was immature of Cannon to get the tattoo in the first place. Tattoo's are nothing to mess with, and while it may show love and affection for a spouse or significant other at the time, it may come of regret later. My parents have taught me that getting a persons name, not including family, tattooed on your body is most likely a mistake that will often times most likely not work out in the end. With that being said, I would have to lean more towards this side of opinions on my belief and behalf of the issue.

On the other hand however, others may argue that this sort of behavior is typical and okay. Many people get their significant others named tattooed on their bodies and many believe that if it doesn't work out that just getting it covered up isn't a problem. In fact, there is even a show about people that specialize in covering up mistaken tattoos called Bad Ink. However, if you ever watch that (or any other shows of that manner) you would come to realize that they all follow a distinct pattern. The guests on the shows always seem to walk in a little embarrassed knowing they don't only have to discuss their mistake, but explain why it happened in the first place, it's like being a kid and talking to your parents all over again! This is yet another reason why I believe that Cannon's mistake did not start when he got the divorce, but rather the fact that he even got the tattoo in the first place. Maybe next time he will think about getting permanent body ink and save himself the talk and embalmment from the public.

Abby Lee Miller

In a recently new news report Abby Lee Miller has allegedly been slammed with a law suit for assaulting a student (http://www.eonline.com/news/587563/dance-moms-abby-lee-miller-sued-for-assault-by-student-get-the-details)/). Since her reality TV show "Dance Moms" has premiered many have come accustomed to different opinion on Millers behalf. Over the years she has been either hated by many (according to her lack of love for her students) or loved by many (according to people agreeing with her stricter ways of teaching and many believing it builds character). Despite the wide variety of "love-hate" relationships for Miller, there is no doubt she has sparked up conversations of her teachings and punishments.

I'm sure most have seen "Dance Moms" at least once in their lives as it has had many consistent seasons, which leads me to question the talk and suggestions of Millers new law suit against her. From watching the countless episodes I (and I'm sure many others) have been able to tell the aggression coming not only from Miller herself, but the moms as well. Often times when one or the other doesn't get their way they tend to throw a fit, most likely to save themselves from embarrassment on national television. In return this is what causes drama, which essentially is what drives it's audience to watch the show.  My question is why this charge in assault hasn't been brought up before, this is not the first time something like this has occurred has it?

In accordance with my statement earlier, a lot of times when Miller or a mom gets angry they tend to throw things out of proportion (throwing objects, using profound language, etc.). The argument presented in the article states that Miller threw a chair at Paige (one of  her students) which may not be morally right in some peoples minds, but is for sure not the first time something like this has happened on the show. In conclusion (and based on other scenes made like this over and over again) I believe that this case was probably made mostly on the fact that something didn't go somebody's way. The people that participate in the show tend to be a little overdramatic about situations, but in the end always seem to come to peace with them. Everyone on the show might not always get a long, but they all know each other well enough to know that any kind of essential "abuse" or "harassment" would never be deemed intentional. In my opinion Miller's reaction may have been wrong, but her supposed "cause" was not intentional.

The Men of Honor

Many of us have heard of or seen the movie The Men of Honor, If you haven't, it is a movie based on the discrimination of one determined soul named Carl Brashear. This brave African American man shows his pride and dignity for his pride and color as he works his way up to pass diving school, the first one in history to even make it passed the gates. Lets take a brief look into the life of the real Carl Brashear.

During an interview with the film director, people were able to ask questions and take a deeper look into the true story of Brashear, It was said that while some of the film was dramatized ( what film isn't) there was a lot of heart and truth behind it. For instance, Brashear did in fact lose his leg and decide to have it amputate it for the fate of his career ahead. "I follow Carl’s life and career, but my goal was to be true to his spirit, not his shirt size" says the film director. Bottom line, Carl Brashear was a man of good faith and strong determination, and nothing could take away his aspirations in life, nothing,

In adding movies to my blog I am able to create a wider variety for the tastes and liking of the viewers. With that being said, please continue to check up on my blog once in a while to see what going on "Beyond the Lights".

A Tribute to MJ

Lately my Pandora station has consisted mostly of older songs from Jackson 5 and yes, MJ himself (from later in his career).  With that being said I know its been quite a while since his death, but it's never to late to pay tribute to Micheal Jackson and his history of pop music , being the "King of Pop", and his incredible dance moves that will forever exist in our hearts. What an inspirational soul to put hi idea of music and reputation on the line for what he is truly passionate about, now that's what I call inspiring. Many of us have our own ideas of what we do and don't believe in, but I am willing to bet that many of us wouldn't be willing to risk our reputations, from childhood on, in front of the world. What's even more fascinating is that people instantly fell in love, How many children do you find willing to just sing and dance anywhere in front of anyone, not to many I would say.  Thanks to MJ our idea of music has been shaped to a different generation, just like Elvis, and that we have the musical experiences that exist today.

While the meaning of this post was to pay tribute, it wouldn't fit the description of "Beyond the Lights" without a little background history on the legend himself. Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary Indiana. "He was the eighth of ten children in an African-American working-class family who lived in a two-bedroom house in Gary, an industrial city and a part of the Chicago metropolitan area" (Wikipedia). His mother was Katherine Esther Scruse, a devout Jehovah's Witness. While once aspiring to be a country and western performer who played clarinet and piano, she ended up  working  part-time at Sears to help support the family.  His father was Joseph Walter "Joe" Jackson, who was a former boxer, a steelworker at U.S. Steel. and also performed on guitar with a local R&B band called The Falcons to supplement the family's household income. Michael also grew up with three sisters (Rebbie, La Toya, and Janet) and five brothers (Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Randy). A sixth brother, Marlon's elder twin Brandon, died shortly after birth.

As most of us know, Micheal stared his career as a part of the Jackson five, a band made up of him and his four other brothers. Micheal and Joe never had a good relationship, in fact Joe would often punish Micheal with harsh punishments such as abuse. No matter what Joe said though the rest of the world quickly fell in love with Micheal, and he soon grew as an inspiration and a legend.

Later in his career Micheal went on as a solo act and continued to achieve many goals, awards, and hearts of people all around the globe. It was the night before his promised big 50 year tour on June 25th, 2009, in his rented mansion in Los Angeles ( due to a medical overdose). Although he is gone he still is remembered and alive in the hearts of his fans, and will forever remain a mark in musical history.

Jennifer Lawrence

Most people view her as the most flawless and perfect actress around, and believe me (in my opinion at least) that is very true. Whats weird about the description is that most of us view someone as flawless when they seem to have no factual imperfections and look and do everything with zero flaws. While Jennifer Lawrence does somewhat fit that description she has other two other things most people of these qualities tend to lack, self pride and the confidence to not care what other people think. I mean lets be honest, people that we think of as perfect aren't accidentally made out to be that way, it's because they are extra careful and take their time to look their best on and off set. I personally look at Lawrence as a role model actress that represents most of the human race outside of the publicity. She is so true and honest to who she is that she barely even shows up plastered on a magazine or newspaper for a bad picture taken or a mistake because she has enough pride and confidence to be nothing but herself, no matter what people think. Okay enough rambling, lets take a look at Jennifer Lawrence's history.

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence was born on August 15, 1990 in  Louisville, Kentucky. "She is the daughter of Karen (Koch) Lawrence, a children's camp manager, and Gary Lawrence, a construction worker" (Wikipedia). In addition she also has two older brothers, Ben and Blaine. By the age of 14 she had decided that she wanted to pursue a career in acting. This persuaded her parents to take her to New York City to find a talent agent. Before finding success in Hollywood, Lawrence attended Kammerer Middle School in Louisville. She graduated from high school two years early with a 3.9 average, working hard at a career in acting. Between growing up and acting, Lawrence served as an assistant nurse at the children's summer day camp that her mother ran.

Lawrence's lead role in Debra Granik's Winter's Bone  is often cited as her breakthrough performance which in addition won best picture at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. Her role portrayed the character Ree Dolly, a 17-year-old in the Ozark Mountains, who cares for her mentally ill mother and her younger brother and sister. The performance was highly acclaimed by film critics, which helped earn a more respected and wide variety of audiences around the world. From here we all know where she went next. Her performance in The Hunger Games series has earned her a huge fan base all around the globe. As she continues her career, Jennifer Lawrence continues to achieve success and respect for her pride and intelligence spread throughout.

Drake

The famous rap artist that has entranced many people all over the world, including myself, continues to show up other artists with his incredible work that he produces. Many outsiders of rap artists will tell you rap is a bunch of bull with some profanity to cover up the missing holes of the songs. However, what they don't realize, is that there is a decent amount of intelligence and patients that plays into rappers method of madness, and Drake displays it beautifully.

"Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, to parents Sandi Graham (nĂ©e Sher), an educator, and Dennis Graham, a drummer who worked with Jerry Lee Lewis" (Wikipedia).  At the young age of just 15 Drake started his career after meeting an agent, the father of a friend in high school, that found Drake a role on the Canadian TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation as Jimmy Brooks. In the show, Drakes character Brooks is a basketball star who became physically disabled after he was shot by a classmate. He describes how his early acting career affected his family by stating that "My mother was very sick. We were very poor, like broke. The only money I had coming in was off of Canadian TV, which isn't that much money when you break it down. A season of Canadian television is under a teacher's salary, I'll tell you that much. It's definitely not something to go f****** get".  He continued his acting career on Degrassi: The Next Generation until 2009, when his character graduated from Degrassi. Overall, he appeared in a total of 138 episodes.

After his Degrassi experience Drake started to work on mixed tapes. His first few self-released mixed tapes achieved success and he was signed to Young Money Records on June of 2009. His first debuted album Thank Me Later blew up, and ever since Drake has been a rap icon. With a fan base of many who can relate and feel his lyrics, Drake has easily become one of the most respected rap artists out there. As of now, he continues to write and inspire many throughout the world with a career that is no where near burnout.

Dylan O'Brien

The very well known (and extremely attractive) Dylan O'Brien has been on the rise lately. His amazing performances on and off screen have grown him an incredible fan base that continues to rise, and his recently released movie The Maze Runner has made him the talk of many. Others though, such as myself, have been hooked since his first appearance in Teen Wolf. However, either way, Dylan O'Brien has made himself a great reputation that will last him a lifetime as we all, and many more to come, continue to watch his grace, poise, kindness, and intelligence throughout his career.

"Dylan O'Brien was born in New York City, to Lisa  Rhodes, a former actress who also ran an acting school, and Patrick O'Brien, a camera operator" IMDB says. His birthdate is August 26th 1991, making him 23 years  old this year. Although he grew up in Springfield Township, New Jersey, at the age of twelve he moved to Hermosa Beach, California where his career would take off. At fourteen, he began posing original videos onto his YouTube channel. "With the videos developing, a local producer/director approached him about doing work for a web series of hers" (Wikipedia). As he pursued working on the web series O'Brien  met an actor who connected him with a manager. He went through multiple auditions before getting the main role on MTV's Teen Wolf. However, after reading the script he decided he wanted to audition for the role of Stiles instead. After four auditions he was cast. It was then in 2011 that he began playing the role of Stiles in Teen Wolf.  In 2013 he co-starred in the comedy film The Internship with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, which eventually lead him to his lead role of The Maze Runner in 2014.

In addition to his outstanding career accomplishments O'Brien has won several awards. He won the Giffoni Experience Award at the Giffoni International Film Festival in 2014. The same year he also won the Teen Choice award for best TV villain at, you guessed it, the Teen Choice Awards. Yahoo! Movies recently named O'Brien as one of the 15 Breakout Stars to watch for in 2014. As for his last award, also won in 2014, O'Brien won the Young Hollywood Award for Breakthough Actor at, yes once again the very obvious, Young Hollywood Awards.

Many are entranced and ecstatic to continue to watch his amazing career and life unfold as not only an incredible actor, but and inspiring person as well.

Ariana Grande

Obviously my rant of obsessions I have endured over the years has seemed to take over my blog as of lately. However, I would find it improper to switch subjects without mentioning my final (I promise) artist obsession, Ariana Grande.  Hooked since her premiere on the television Victorious Grande has continued to inspire me through her music, artistry, but most of all, her attitude.

Ariana Grande-Butera was born on June 26th 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida. Her mom is Joan Grande, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Hose-McCann Communications,a telephone and alarm system company. Her father is Edward Butera, who owns a graphic design firm in Boca Raton. In addition she has an elder half-brother, Frankie Grande (born in 1983), who is also an actor, dancer and producer, as well as a contestant on season sixteen of Big Brother. Ariana's mother moved with her father from New York to Florida when she was pregnant with her, and later revealed that her parents split up when she was 8 or 9. As a child, she described herself as being "a very weird little girl" because "I always wanted to have skeleton face paint on or be wearing a Freddy Krueger mask" and that in addition her fifth-birthday party had a Jaws theme (Wikipedia). By age 13 she became serious about pursuing her musical career, while still concentrating on theater.  When she first arrived in Los Angeles to meet with her managers, she expressed a desire to record an R&B album when she was 14 "I was like, 'I want to make an R&B album,' They were like 'Um, that’s a helluva goal! Who is going to buy a 14-year-old’s R&B album?!" (Wikipedia).  In 2008 she auditioned and scored her first casting playing the supporting role of cheerleader Charlotte in the kiddie musical 13 on Broadway, and she won a National Youth Theatre Association Award. When she joined the musical she left her high school, North Broward Preparatory School, but continued to be enrolled. However, the school sent materials to her so she could study with tutors. She also sang various times at the New York City Jazz club Birdland.

Later in life, Ariana successfully landed the role of Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon television series Victorious in 2009, earning the hearts of anyone and everyone who enjoyed watching her innocent and bubbly character come to life.  "After the show ended she rose to prominence as a teen idol on her own spinoff, Sam & Cat, along with iCarly actress Jennette McCurdy" (Wikipedia). With the base of her career taking a big leap in popularity, Ariana started making music and landed a record deal with Republic Records. Since then she has continued her career by writing amazing music that her fans not only relate too, but fall continuously in love with.

Christina Aguilera

As mentioned previously in my last blog post, I have grown a likeliness for Christina Aguilera for many years now. While she (much like Leonardo) hasn't been on any major headlines lately, my eager twitch to write about her can't stand much more. Throughout the years Christina has become more than just one of my favorite artists to watch, she's become my inspiration. From watching her flawless performances on stage, to learning the background of her painful past she's been more than someone I look up to, but someone I can relate to as well.

Christina MarĂa Aguilera was born December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York. For most of her childhood she was raised in Rochester and Wexford Pennsylvania. Starting her career off the right way, she appeared in television series Star Searched and The Mickey Mouse Club. Christina rose to prominence as a bubblegum pop singer in the 1990s, and her self debut album (1999) debuted at number one on the U.S billboard 200 and was also featured on the Billboards number one single "Genie in a Bottle", making her a tripple threat actress, songwriter, and singer. From there she experienced moderate success worldwide, and earned heer fourth number one single in the United States with a cover version of  "Lady Marmalade" in 2001." Displeased with her lack of input in her image and music, Aguilera assumed creative control for her fourth studio album, Stripped (2002), which draws influences from many genres including soul, hip hop, Latin, and rock" Wikipedia says.. The album spawned multiple top-ten singles, includng "Dirrty" and "Beautiful", and was one of the best-selling albums of that year.

Christina entered a more mature part of her life when she got engaged to music marketing executive Jordan Bratman in February 2005, after dating for three years. The couple got married on November 19, 2005 at an estate in Napa County, California. However, after the release of her album Back to Basics, and her tremendous work in the movie Burlesque her marriage soon took a turn for the worse. Having finally separated in September 2010, she filed for divorce from Bratman in October 2010, requesting joint legal and physical custody of their son Max. "After reaching a private settlement and custody deal, their divorce was finalized on April 15, 2011" Wikipedia says.In late 2010, Aguilera started dating with Matthew Rutler, whom she met on the set of Burlesque. They are now happily married, and since Christina has come through with even more amazing new songs and singles making her a legendary music icon, including her new recently produced album Bionic.

Leonardo DiCaprio

As of lately my twitch for Leonardo DiCaprio movies has been on a major high. Spending my Saturday night last weekend bawling my eyes out to the Titanic, I have managed to temporarily replace my obsessions of Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande with the talented, beautiful, and amazing actor. I considered writing a blog on Leonardo and thought it not to be appropriate considering it pertains to nothing under the category of "Latest news", but the sole fact of The Great Gatsby being my favorite movie of all time made me decide that there was no way I would pass up the opportunity.

Leonardo Wilhelm DeCaprio was born on Novermber 11, 1974 in Los Angeles California. His mother, Irmelin is a former legal secretary. Born in Germany, she moved with her familt from Ruhr to the United states during the 1950s. His father, George DiCaprio, is an underground comic artist and is also a distruibuter of comic books. DiCaprio's parents met while attending college and subsequently moved to Los Angeles after." He was named Leonardo because his pregnant mother was looking at a Leonardo da Vinci painting in a museum in Italy when DiCaprio first kicked" says Wikipedia. However, his parents divorced when he was a year old and he lived mostly with his mother.

During Dicaprio's early career he participated in several commercials and educational films. After being removed from the children's television series Romper Room for being disruptive, he followed his older stepbrother Adam Farrar into television commercials. Shortly after, to no ones suprise, he landed an ad for Matchbox cars at age 14. It was in 1990 when he got his break on television when he was cast in the short-lived series based on the movie Parenthood. His involvment in  Parenthood (and countless other hit tv shows after), earned him a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor.

DiCaprio's debut film role was in the comedic sci-fi horror film Critters 3, in which he played the stepson of an evil landlord, a role that he described as "your average, no depth, standard kid with blonde hair". Well, from there I think we all know what happened next. His career took off with countless other movie hits, making women all around the world fall in love with him a little more each day (me definatley being up there on that list). Today he is most known for his roles in the Titanic, The Great Gatsby, and putting smiles on women's faces everywhere whenever he appears on the screen.

The Secret Ceremony

We have watched sparks fly between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt since they first appeared in the movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in 2005. Ever since they have had an amazing relationship adopting 3 children along with having 3 of their own and keeping the chemistry they both have possessed back in 2005. Recently however talk has been of the "Secret Ceremony" the couple had, officially making them newly weds and husband and wife for life.

Angelina's dress was not what many of us would expect to see, to say the least. the beautiful Donatella Versace gown was made simple and incredibly stunning (as everything put on Angelina is) but there was one touch that would make it a dress that no one will forget any time soon. The designer “sewed dozens of designs from her children’s drawings into the dress and veil,” “People” said in its cover story. That's right, the kids (ranging from age 6-13) all had their drawings featured on the beautiful brides veil. In addition, Angelina had also lost her mother Marcheline Bertrand to ovarian cancer in 2007, so to honor her, the bride wore "a little flower ring that was hers", she said. Her brother James also "wore an angel pin from her jewelry box", and Brad also engraved a dedication to Bertrand in the chapel where they were wed. Taking a second to realize how brilliant and bitter sweet that moment must have been, we continue on to the actual ceremony.

At the small ceremony in the Chateau Miraval in France, the breathtaking couple made memories that were sure to last a life time. Each child was given the opportunity to choose what they wanted to do to participate in the wedding. The eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mom down the aisle. The flower girls were Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, who tossed pedals from the garden as they progressed down the isle, and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. The kids also helped their parents read their vows and Pax baked the cake. Just more to add to the bitter sweet moments of the ceremony.

The wedding started with Angelina Jolie walked down the aisle to the sounds of Brad, the children, and the 20 guests humming to Here Comes The Bride. As the wedding progressed and it was time to share the vows the children proceeded to stand by their parents, and help them read their vows and "promises" to each other. In the end of the ceremony the couple left the chapel as the Wedding March was played, with nothing but smiles and happiness on their faces.

Sam Smith on the Rise

Sam Smith (full name Samuel Frederick) has recently been on a quickly trending rise in music, and has definitely made his mark in the industry of music so far.

Smith was born on May 19th 1992 in London England. He was apart of the Youth Music Theater in UK as a child and stared in their 2007 production of "Oh Carol!". For many years Smith spent his time studying, singing, and songwriting jazz music. He attended St Mary's Catholic School in Bishop's Stortford, was a member of the Bishop's Stortford Junior Operatics (now Bishops Stortford Musical Theater Society), and was also apart of the successful Cantate Youth Choir.

Smith later rose to fame in countless countries as a British soul singer-songwriter in October of 2012 when he was featured on Disclosure's breakthrough single "Latch". The song later peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. His subsequent feature on Naughty Boy's "La La La"earned him his first number 1 single in May of 2013.

In December of 2013 Smith was nominated for the 2014 BRIT Critics' Choice Award and the BBC's Sound of 2014 poll, and won both. Shortly after in May of 2014 he released his debut album In the Lonely Hour on Capitol records. His lead single "Lay Me Down" was released prior to "La La La", and was followed by his second single "Money on My Mind"."The album's third single "Stay with Me" was an international success, peaking atop both the UK Singles chart and the U.S. Billboard Pop Songs chart along with the Adult Contemporary, Adult Pop Songs and Radio Songs charts (Wikipedia)". In addition it also reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Smith was awarded best song and best video (La La La), and was also nominated for single of the year and best newcomer at the MOBO Awards. At the BRIT Awards Smith was awarded Critics' choice and was nominated (again) for the single of the year. He continued a strong streak at the VMA'a being nominated for artist to watch, best male video, and song of the summer (Stay with Me). At the latest awards ceremony Smith has attended, Young Hollywood Awards, Smith won Breakout artist and in addition was nominated for hottest music artist and (again) song of the summer.

Since Smiths rise in fame he has appeared on the cover of The Fader, Saturday Night Live, preformed at the 2014 VMA's, and has had countless other incredible opportunities in his career.

Carrie Underwood and Husband Mike Fisher are Expecting!

Recently Carrie Underwood posted a picture of her and her dogs (wearing the "I am a big brother" and "I am a big sister" shirts) on Instagram, officially announcing her pregnancy.

Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike fisher met at one of her concerts in late 2008 and got engaged December 22nd 2009. "Underwood and Fisher appeared together publicly for the first time in January 2010, at the Bell Sens Soiree, an annual fundraiser in Gatineau for the Ottawa Senators' official charity" (Wikipedia). However, after appearing at the CMT awards in January of 2010 Underwood told reporters that Fisher was planning a surprise honeymoon for the two of them after their wedding in the summer.

Shortly after in June of 2010 Underwood and Fisher got married at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge with over 250 people attending, "We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” The ceremony featured classical music and readings of the bride and groom to be's favorite bible verses. Amongst the crowd where National Hockey League players, as well as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, American Idol contestants, and judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson. For their first dance Underwood surprised Fisher with one of their favorite artists, Brandon Heath, singing his song "Love Never Fails".

"On February 11, 2011, an Ottawa radio station, 105.3 CISS-FM, banned the playing of Underwood's music because her husband, Mike Fisher, was traded to the Nashville Predators the day before" (Wikipedia). However, due to countless fan threats on Facebook stating that they would never again tune to the specific radio station again the station modified their statement. They apologized for their actions, staying that their statements were only to be meant as a joke  as they do not play Underwood's songs anyway, and it was just their  way of wishing Fisher the best of luck in Nashville. "Fisher later criticized the station saying "obviously Carrie had nothing to do with the move or the trade or anything so to imply something like that was just wrong", and noting that both he and Underwood were disappointed in the negativity that was created by the radio station" (Wikipedia).
Shortly after in 2012 Underwood was selected by The Hockey News on it's annual list of the 100 People of Power and Influence in Ice Hockey, she was ranked as number 85.

In September of 2014 Underwood and Fisher then announced that they are expecting their first child, due in spring of 2015. Fans have since then been raving about their new soon to be family.

Beyonce's VMA Preformace

I'm sure by now that we've all head about Beyonce's flawless, feminist, and beyond fearless performance at the VMA's. Here is when we begin to question what her purpose, motivation, and message in this stunning performance was. Why did she chose this as her act on stage? In this 20 minute segment Beyonce takes you on an emotional journey through her most recent, self-titled album, about her life.

The first event, and probably the most fierce of them all, was her message of feminism. "In fact, (says Bustle Entertainment) the whole stage went dark, casting Beyonce into shadow, making sure that the word FEMINIST was all the entire world watching the VMA's could see". Since then, the big discussion has been why Beyonce would throw such a controversial statement on stage. The answer? Her strong belief in being nothing but herself. We all know how independent and self attaining Beyonce can be, which is why she fits right under the category of leadership, and also why her last album has sold over 3 million copies worldwide (Bustle).

After you are introduced to "her world" Beyonce continues to take you through a journey that can only be described as flawless. As she continues into songs from her new album (such as Blow) she shows off some of her famous moves and choreography expressing nothing less then, you guessed it, herself. This is yet another one of the countless reasons why many of us idolize Beyonce today, because we too want to have the pure confidence and pride that Beyonce has attained.

Beyonces stunning performance was then concluded with an "emotional arc with family footage playing behind her as she preformed Blue" (MTV News). Pictures consisted mostly of her child Blue, her husband Jay Z, and her together. Right after the conclusion of the performance Jay Z and Blue came on stage and presented her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, bringing Beyonce to tears. "I'm so full, I have nothing to say" she said, all choked up." I'm filled with so much gratitude, I just thank God for this moment. I love y'all so much. Blue I love you Blue, my beloved (Jay Z) I love you. My fans, I love you. MTV, I love you, goodnight" (MTV News).
